The Curriculum of the Program

The curriculum of the Schulich School of Business Master of Accounting program consists of core modules. The core modules are Intermediate Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Advanced Management Accounting, Auditing Standards & Applications, Introduction to Income Taxation, Multi-Competency Case Analysis for Accountants, Integrative Case Analysis for Accountants, and Advanced Income Taxation.

The electives offered are Advanced Financial Accounting, Advanced Auditing, Strategic Management, Managerial Tax Planning, Advanced Integrative Case Analysis, Integrative Case Analysis- The Capstone, Management Accounting, Strategy and Performance, Strategic Performance Evaluation, and Strategic Leadership Planning and Case Analysis.

The application requirements for the Schulich School of Business Master of Accounting program are-

Diploma in Intermediate Accounting Program– The diploma in Intermediate Accounting Program is an eight-month graduation program to provide knowledge regarding Canadian Accounting and Tax Practices. The program begins in May every year.

Application Deadlines

The Schulich School of Business Master of Accounting Program has three intakes. The first intake is in May, the second intake is in September, and the last intake is in May. The May intake is for Graduates with non-business degrees from outside of Canada. The September intake is for Business/Commerce students from Canadian Institutions. The May deadline is for Schulich BBA/iBBA students. 

International students are requested to apply during the first round of applications.

  • The essays must not exceed more than 500 words
  • The Letter of Recommendation must come from your current professor or employee.

The cost of the Schulich School of Business Master of Accounting program cost for domestic students is $ 26,950 and for international students is $59,500.
